We contributed to the redesign of indagare.com, a luxury travel agency offering planned group trips, destination guides, hotel booking, and inspiring travel content.
How you travel matters
Indagare’s homepage is designed to present a comprehensive view of the core company offerings while ensuring a user-friendly experience. The page showcases the most recent articles, destinations, planned trips, and a wealth of inspirational content, all strategically placed to engage and captivate visitors.
Branding

We restored brand cohesiveness by applying a unified style throughout the redesign.

Navigation
ndagare offers an extensive range of content and services. To provide a user-friendly experience without overwhelming choices, we introduced two navigation styles. The first, featuring visible labels, serves as the default option. For content-rich pages, we implemented a burger menu navigation to maintain focus on the main content.

Extensive Figma Library
To ensure consistency across the website, we created a refined library of Figma components.
Destinations

A key feature of Indagare is its meticulously curated content, derived from firsthand experiences and reviews of visited destinations.

The destination pages host an extensive volume of content, and our contribution involved effectively organizing it. Notably, we introduced the concept of “Postcards” where users can submit content directly from the website. Leveraging AI, the website automatically generates accompanying illustrations for these postcards.

Illustrations
Illustrations originally created for the company’s tarot cards have been repurposed as headers and clickable tiles across the site.
Editorial
With thousands of curated articles authored freely, the site faced inconsistency in content styling and structure. Our solution involved crafting a modular library, seamlessly integrated into the CMS during article creation. This approach ensures uniformity and ease of content management across all articles.
Sing up flow
We revamped and streamlined the sign-up process for the different plans, resulting in a more user-friendly experience.
Mobile ready
Each screen has been intricately crafted to seamlessly adjust to various mobile devices, guaranteeing a fluid and uniform user experience, even during travel.

Ignazio Lacitignola

Founder & Designer

Meet Ignazio, affectionately known as “Igi” to friends and colleagues. An Italian designer, creative and entrepreneur who finds it a bit peculiar to refer to himself in the third person, but he’s willing to do so for the sake of this bio.

From his earliest memories, Ignazio’s mind has been a canvas of creativity, and his love for digital design ignited as soon as he could afford a computer and an internet connection that wasn’t the sluggish 56k dial-up.

Growing up in the less glamorous corners of Milan, Italy, Ignazio defied the odds, earning honors at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti without ever brushing shoulders with the law.

Following his heart’s call, he ventured across the Atlantic to San Francisco, USA, to immerse himself in the startup and User Experience world. It was here that he kickstarted his journey with Meno Design, a digital design studio dedicated to distilling complex digital experiences into their essence, while learning through experimentation.

In Ignazio’s eyes, every piece of design is a potential masterpiece, an artistic expression in its own right. His ongoing challenge is harmonizing his meticulous attention to detail, sometimes bordering on OCD, with the practical timely demands.

Beneath his approachable and calm exterior lies a delight of colorful Italian cursing that surface whenever he stumbles upon poor design choices—though it’s worth noting that he’s incredibly friendly, and a simple “ciao” is always welcomed.
