Heyo! Welcome to the MENO Mistakes Podcast…or whatever the hell this classifies as.
MENO mistakes is all about this one big question:
If you could go back in time to the beginning of your career, what piece of advice would you give to your younger self?
Simone’s passion for Japanese art started when he was a young boy growing up in Rome, Italy (yes, you wouldn’t guess that based on his artwork style, but he is, in fact, Italian!) His passion turned into growing an internationally recognized pop culture brand that is all based around a compilation of sassy yet lovable characters such as the “Moofia”, “Unicorno”, “Donutella”, “Til Death Do Us Part”, and “Cactus Friends”.
tokidoki products are now sold in Nordstrom, Macy’s, Fred Segal, Karmaloop and more than 1000 boutiques in more than 60 countries worldwide. And as a mom of two, I can’t get enough of the tokidoki prints on my FAVORITE mommy bag and baby accessories (especially the cloth diapers)!
Simone has also collaborated with high-profile clients such as Volkswagen, MTV, John Galliano, Champion, Toyota, Renault, Daihatsu, BenQ, Microsoft, Narcotic Bureau of Singapore, Telecom Italia, Karl Lagerfeld, LeSportsac, Onitsuka Tiger, Marvel Entertainment, New Era, Hello Kitty, Fujitsu, Levi’s, Smashbox cosmetics, Xbox, T-mobile, Fornarina, Skullcandy, Mattel and Medicom Toy.
Hear what Simone has to say about what he would do differently if he could go back in time…
If you like Simone’s advice, tweet it out!
